Windy Point Music - Motivation, Inspiration, Education

September 2015

Telford Community Orchestra is still going strong but we always welcome more new players. Thanks to all of our players for a great evening of musical entertainment provided for the residents of Lake View Residential Care Home Telford, in July.  The residents, staff and visitors very much appreciated our musical offerings. We have a regular membership of around 15 players from school and college students through to retired people across the strings, woodwind and brass sections. Rehearsals start back on 10/09/15. Please contact ( see Contact Us ) if you would like to join us to make sure we can provide appropriate parts for you at the rehearsal. You will be made to feel very welcome in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Andy and Andrienna have just got to the end of a very busy but enjoyable few days of music adjudicating at the Much Wenlock Live Arts Festival. Many congratulations are extended to all of the performers who took part in the classes. The standards were extremely high and we both felt privileged to be part of the festival and to be able to enjoy your music making. We had some very tough decisions to make throughout the course of the events in placing competitors but hope that everyone enjoyed the process of the music making as much as we did!
A big thank you also needs to go out to all of the committee members for their hard work in the planning for this amazing festival.
Good luck to all of you who will be taking part in the concert in June.
